Rocky S. Frazier
Using
the structure from an old Tyson facility, Mr. Frazier designed and built
a state of the art plant for the purpose of 2nd processing
boneless chicken for the instructional marketplace. Investors convinced
Mr. Frazier to sell this facility to a company now known as Alatrade
Foods. Alatrade Foods now owns and operate three facilities after the
profitable beginnings created by the purchase of Mr. Frazier’s first
venture.
Mr. Frazier, in addition to
growing the business at Fabco, built his second poultry processing
facility in 2002. The venture created a much bigger challenge. Mr.
Frazer converted an old Arrow Plant used for the manufacturer of shirts
into a modern and efficient processing facility that sized and further
processed boneless chicken. As in the case of the first facility, the
profitability of this plant created an opportunity to sell this facility
to a group of investors. The second facility is owned and operates as
Sunrise Foods.
In 2006, Mr. Frazier’s
vision was to create Fresh Direct Processing., the most food safe and cost
efficient further processing facility in the industry. Intensive design,
program planning and construction concluded in 2006.
Mr. Frazier attended Sneed
State College and The University of Alabama-Huntsville earning degrees
in Economics, Business Law and Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Mr.
Frazier is an active member and/or contributor in the following
